Six ways we help nonprofits find, keep and grow the people who power their fundraising.
Find the raisers.
Sign-ups are easy to buy. We go after the people who’ll actually donate or raise.
Make them stop.
Creative built for the people we’re after, and never left to go stale.
Follow the money.
Budget moves toward what’s raising, not what’s getting clicks.
Prove it.
We judge every campaign on what it raised, not what it reported.
How each step actually works is the part we keep in The Lab. Ask, and we’ll show you.
raised by Pieta’s 12 Dips in December, with 96% of fundraisers new to participating in a challenge for Pieta.
Supporters sign up to walk, run, swim, dip or take on something non-athletic, set up their own fundraising page and ask friends and family to give. We find the people who’ll take part and actually raise, then keep them going until the finish line.
Nonprofits that want new supporters at scale, not just one-off gifts.
Most events are pay-to-play: people buy a place and turn up. We go further. We find the people who won’t just register for your walk, run or in-person event, but will raise money on top of their entry fee too, whether the event is yours or a third party’s.
Nonprofits with their own walks and runs, or places in third-party events to fill.
Some causes need gifts, not fundraisers. Donation campaigns take the approach that powers our challenges and point it at people ready to give directly, with nobody in between.
Nonprofits that want new donors from social media, for an appeal, a moment or all year round.
When follow-up stopped for one US client, returning fundraisers nearly halved. When it resumed, they started coming back.
A supporter’s first challenge should be the start, not the end. We stay in touch after the campaign so the people who raised once come back and raise again.
Any nonprofit whose supporters do one campaign and are never heard from again.
New platforms, new formats, new ideas. They start with us: we spot what’s worth trying and build the business case before anything runs. Then we put it to work in your campaign and measure what really happened. The best of it ends up in The Lab.
Nonprofits open to trying something new, as long as there’s a clear case for why it’s worth it.
The thinking behind our campaigns, available on its own: planning a year of challenges, understanding who your fundraisers really are, and forecasting what a calendar could raise.
Teams that run their own campaigns and want a second brain on strategy.
A challenge someone takes on, wherever they are, to raise money for a cause: walking, running, swimming, cold-water dipping or even something non-athletic. They set up a fundraising page and ask friends and family to support them with a donation.
In a challenge, the supporter asks their network to give. In a donation campaign, the supporter gives directly. We run both. They’re planned differently, but they’re powered by the same strategies and proprietary tools.
Events are held on a set day, or days, at a set place, and most charge an entry fee. Challenges are done wherever supporters are, on their own time, and are powered by the money they raise.
We run campaigns for some of the largest nonprofits and charities in the US, the UK and Ireland, and we can help you wherever you are.
You decide. Success is whatever your organisation needs most: usually money raised, sometimes new supporters, a bigger community or a cause more people care about. We agree on it before we start and measure everything against it, not against sign-ups or clicks. Plenty of agencies will sell you on ROAS. But ROAS doesn’t build a hospital. The people who raise the money do.
Yes, and we’d recommend it. Start with a pilot campaign, see what it delivers, then build from there.
